Hiphop and Bboy-Bgirl Boot Camp

Students must be between the ages of 12 and 18 yrs old. There will be two levels of instruction beginner and intermediate. There are places for 30 students in residence and 8 day students. Day students will receive meals and must participate in evening activities. There are two student-teacher mentorships available. There will be daily classes in bboying and hip hop, plus workshops in a variety of related skills such as gymnastics and martial arts. There are rehearsals most evenings, but there is also time for fun camp stuff like camp fires and cabin challenges. The program will be physically strenuous, but not overly so provided youngsters are in good general health. The goal of The Ross Creek Centre for the Arts [RCCA], is to give teens the best arts training in Canada. Instructors and counsellors encourage campers to explore and develop their skills and creativity in a safe atmosphere of fun and respect. All Ross Creek camps are staffed by qualified, enthusiastic personnel. All counsellors are CPR and first aid certified and are screened through criminal record and Abuse registry checks. All staff undergo intensive training prior to the beginning of camp. The Ross Creek Centre for the Arts is based on 186 acres of farm and forest on the North Mountain of the Annapolis Valley, only a few minutes from Blomidon look-off.
