Well over 50 of his former players have played or are active in the NFL.   Over Joe's storied history, he has coached on 6 ACC Championship teams and in 14 bowl games.   Boomer Esiason, one of his former QB’s was named to four Pro Bowl’s and received the NFL’s Most Valuable Player Award in 1988.   Boomer said of, Coach Krivak, “He has an extraordinary ability to convey his knowledge about the fundamentals of quarterbacking.  More importantly, he has a unique talent to teach a young quarterback to read defenses.
