Junk to Funk Trashion Camp

Junk to Funk is partnering with SCRAP to provide your camper with a week long adventure in creative summer camp activities! Campers will work with the Junk to Funk Trashion Collective to transform everyday materials into extravagant fashion accessories and dumpster couture. Supplies will be provided by SCRAP. Inspiration will be provided by the discovery of creative re-use. Your happy camper will also create an Avant-garde Trashion garment that will hit the runway in a culminating friends and family fashion show at the end of their camp week session. Location Trashion Camps will be held at SCRAP Dates Session 1: Monday August 1st through Friday August 5th Session 2: Monday August 8th through Friday August 12th Session 3: Monday August 15th through Friday August 19th Time: Daily 9-4 Ages: 10-18 Cost: $350 Trashioneer in Training Program If your camper is 17-18 they are eligible to be a “Trashioneer in Training” (TT). TT’s pay half tuition for the camp, assume a leadership role with younger campers and will help to plan our end of week “Trashion Show”. Training will be provided. Two TT positions are open per week. Who wouldn’t be! You can download the camp registration form below. We require a $100 deposit per camper to reserve your space. Your deposit will apply to your camp enrollment. Please pay via check, credit card or cash at time of registration. Your deposit is refundable up until 15 days prior to camp start date (see cancellation policy in FAQs for details)
