The Lego Robotics Camps are taught by members of The MindStorm Troopers team, 1st Place Robot Performance and winners of 2006 and 2007 Champions Awards (Best Overall) at the FIRST Lego League (FLL) World Championship Tournament in Atlanta. The team is retired and is now passing on their knowledge to future roboticists. Our team has acquired a lot of practical knowledge over the years about robotics and, more importantly, how to teach it in a way that students will understand and enjoy. Our senior members strive to give their knowledge back to the community by holding robotics camps.

Students will learn how to design, build, and program a working NXT robot. At the conclusion of the camp the students will be able to use their new-found skills to pit their robots against those of the other students in a miniature competition with an awards ceremony at the end. Students will also be introduced to the world of "FIRST Lego League", a worldwide robotics competition geared towards middle-school students, and they will be given practical tips by the team who won first place at the world competition in 2006 and 2007.
