Staff

Our staff is specially trained and knowledgeable in the ways of children and is prepare to do what is necessary to make the swimming lessons a pleasant and a worthwhile experience for you and your child.  All the swimming instructors are hired by Swim Kids which is a member of the WABC (World Aquatic Baby Conference) and NSSA (National Swim School Association). The Swimming Instructors are certified by the Red Cross WSI (Water Safety Instructors) and NSSA (Infant & Toddler Swimming Instructors). They are also trained in the safety procedures of CPR and First Aid.

Newborns to 4 months

Water is a child's first natural habitat.  Infants form and develop swathed in a warm pool of water, an environment where for months, they feel safe and snug. That is why swimming at an early age is such a delight for children and natural activity for them as well.

My Parents and Me (4 months to 24 months)

My Parents and Me is an opportunity for parents to spend quality time with their children as they reacquaint themselves with the water. As the child gains confidence in the pool, the instructor will introduce basic swimming and water survival skills.

Toddlers (2-3 years old)

Toddlers have an inherent desire to emulate and please those around them. They will be introduced to the basics of swimming, the first and most important of which is breathing. Later, they will learn to do fun free-style strokes such as Arrows, Circles, Airplanes, Dolphin and Froggy kicks.

Preschool (3-5 years old)

Children of this age group, for the most part, are independent and welcome new challenges. Once the fundamentals are mastered, the emphasis will be placed on timing and mini-swimming stroke.

School age (6-12 years old)

At this level advanced strokes are introduced, developed and refined, preparing the child for competition and a life of physical endurance and fitness.
