New York YMCA Camp

The New York YMCA Camp offers summer camp programs for all ages and interests – the excitement awaits! Traditional Coed Sleepaway Camp programs are available for ages 6 to 12 in the McAlister Village and ages 12 to 15 at Talcott. Both McAlister and Talcott campers enjoy swimming lessons, a variety of sports, arts and crafts, outdoor living skills, boating, Wibit, and ropes courses. Outdoor Adventures provides campers ages 10-15 the opportunity to take trips and explore beyond tour 1150 acres. Specialty Sports Camps are available in Gymnastics, Volleyball, Judo and Rhythmic Gymnastics and Power Tumbling. All sports camp participants enjoy world class training from expert coaches who encourage camper to learn new skills while improving existing ones. Everyone is welcome at the NY Y Camp. Campers and staff travel from around the world to spend their summer in Huguenot, NY making friendships that strengthen summer after summer. Whether a family has a long standing tradition in camping and or a child is camping pioneer our staff ensure that they have a positive and enjoyable summer. Our core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility are expected to be exhibited by everyone every day. It’s that simple – it’s what we do.

The New York YMCA Camp is accredited by the American Camp Association. We offer programs year round to our camp families including family camp and winter camp programs.
