This first level will use a range of hands-on exercises so children grasp a more in depth knowledge of electrical, mechanical and software concepts related to the robotics field. The hands-on exercises are designed for students to gain a better knowledge of the components related to robotics. Students will also use robots in various exercises to gain a better understanding of challenges in foreign environments.
A focus on electrical circuits will be emphasized through circuit design, build and testing. Students will be introduced to important engineering tools needed in the robot building process. In this class, each child will build and test an electrical robot that does not need to be programmed. Students will then compete on the final day with the robot they each built.
