STEM Camp (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) is a camp for kids aged 5 to 13 that focuses on impactful and inspirational experiences. Experts from across Canada such as astronauts, scientists, olympic athletes, engineers and more virtually visit the camp each day and do activities with the campers over videoconferencing. The experience is truly unique as who better to help youth build a rocket than someone who has actually flown one? At STEM Camp we place a great emphasis on creating that experience that creates more interest in these fields of study and we do it through such activities as building solar powered cars, creating DNA strands from candy, building and flying rockets, extracting DNA from fruit, planting tomato seeds that came from space and a whole lot more.
