Summer Reading Program

Designed for students Grades (K-9) who require both development reading support and enrichment in the areas of reading Literacy and comprehension. Instruction targets reading fluency and comprehension; integration of essential language skills-reading, listening, speaking, and writing; vocabulary development through word recognition strategy; reading comprehension strategies-literature and informational texts; and the development of academic materials using technology.

When: June 25 - July 26, 2012, 8:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m. (Mon.–Thurs)
Location: Saint Joseph’s University Campus, 5600 City Avenue, Philadelphia, PA – Merion Hall
Six-Week Program Tuition Cost: $525.00
Students participating in the program will be required to undergo a pre-testing evaluation for either Saturday, June 2 or June 9, 2012.
