hello,
I am a 17 year old senior high school student from St. John's, Newfoundland and will be graduating this June. My two friends and i have been doing quite a lot of research on the internet for a summer job as camp counselors, preferably in Quebec as we all have a strong background in french.
I've noticed that on most camp sites the minimum age requirement is 18 years. While both of my friends will be 18 by the end of June, i won't turn 18 until the 20th of July. I was wondering if staff had to be 18 by the beginning of camp or is it acceptable so long as my birth year is in 1991?
We all have work, volunteer and experience as camp counselors or as CIT's and are really hoping that we can find positions somewhere for summer 2009!
