Hia Wink

are any of you camp direcotrs lookin for couples/families to work on your camps ? Cool

Me and my wife have been talking about doing summer camp work for some time

I am 38 and have been a youth worker since my early 20’s a also have experience working with special needs and am an archery instructor
My wife is a PE teacher, she is secondary trained although has been working in primary schools for some years now and also has experience of working with special needs
We also have 3 children
We are also Christians AngelicLaugh but are happy to work in any camp

I have seen a few sites now and they all seem to be geared for 18 – 30 year olds with no kids

We are interested in camps in the USA and Canada

Its something we would really love to do but just cant seem to find a road in

Any help or advice would be appreciated

Our camp would be happy to have you on staff. For the most part, I believe the reason for younger staff, without children, is because that is what is out there, within a camps price range. Camps generally cannot pay very much - that said, if you are interested, check out my camp: www.cma-usmcc.org

Wow thanx very much for your reply

the academy certainly looks like a good place but i dont think it would be for us, a bit to regimented for me personally
Im a very laid back kinda bloke (some say too laid back lol)
plus no one in the pictures had hair longer than about 1/4 inch and mine is 3/4 way down my back Cool

thank you very much for the offer tho
I have a nephew and neice who are in the army cadets an im sure they'd be mad for it, as i would have been 20 odd years ago, i think ill pass on the web add to them
