The excitement of adventure courses results in severe injuries every year. The current Self Belay System with a Y-split lanyard and two carabiners is unsafe, as participants often unclip themselves while being at heights.
The Smart Lock Belay System is designed and certified to overcome this problem. Smart Lock Belay System is an intelligent self belay system, developed specifically for high adventure challenge courses.

This unique system is:
Intuitive – No extra skills required, easily handled by children.
Effortless – Requires a maximum of 2 hours to retrofit the ropes course.
Predictable - The number of actions by the participant is reduced to an absolute minimum.
Intelligent – The use of Neodym Magnets provides the unique switch effect with one connector always being closed, making it impossible for the users to accidently unclip themselves.
Reliable – SLB only pulls on the Bowden cable and safely withstands over 100 000 movements.
Safe – CE certified. International Safety Certifications EN15567-1 & EN795B.
The Smart Lock Belay contains two connectors joined with a stainless steel Bowden cable. In the Smart Lock Belay System always one connector is locked and one is opened. This phenomenon is called a switching effect. It is impossible for the participants to unclip themselves until the end of the adventure course.
