The 2008 Girl Scout National Council Session/51st convention will take place in Indianapolis, IN, from October 30 to November 2, with more than 11,000 adult and girl members and nearly 200 exhibitors expected to attend. Come prepared to share the story about how Girl Scouts Can Lead Anywhere. Celebrate accomplishments and envision an even brighter future for the Movement and the girls of this nation. Hall of Exhibit Hours Thursday, October 30 - 2:00 pm - 6:30 pm and 9:00 pm - 10:00 pm Friday, October 31 - 12 Noon - 8:00 pm Saturday, November 1 - 10:00 am - 6:00 pm Sunday, November 2 - 10:00 am - 4:00 pm Special Events include: History Gathering - This gathering will be an opportunity to meet and talk to other History Volunteers and hear a special presentation "In Their Own Words—Juliette Gordon Low and Friends" given by Fran Harold, Director, Juliette Gordon Birthplace. Girl Scout Gold Award Alliance Gathering - The Girl Scout Council of Northwest Georgia, Inc. and Girl Scouts of the USA invite representatives from Gold Award Alliances across the country to come to this networking event. Online Buddies Gathering - Girl Scouts and Girl Guides from around the globe who connect via the Internet are invited to attend this exciting gathering to put faces with screen-names.
