Hi People,
New to this and to the whole camp scene.
I am recently divorced with a beautiful 3 (almost 4) year old boy. I have heard about single parents camps but can't find any. I'd like to know if there is such a thing. If there is, is there any you'd recommend? Do you think my son is too young?
He is very active and like everything a three year old like.

You can go to a family camp program together. My daughter and I went sans my husband, for the past three summers (since she was 2), and have had a wonderful time. You'll find a lot of families are there sans mom or dad, as one parent just isn't into the camp scene. Just google family camps, many of the large camps hold them in August after there regular sessions. Typically a week long program. I recommend Camp Lake Hubert in Minnesota, but there are lots of quality programs out there in all the price ranges.
