Hi there, I'm Andrea, a 25 year old fully trained primary school teacher with five years teaching experience behind me. My teaching has included both mainstream and special needs education for children between the ages of 5 through to 13. This is quite a change, prospectively looking to work in an American camp - but I am hoping that my enthusiasm and experience for working with children will enable me to take this step as a long-term interest, based on more specific areas which I enjoy very much. Some of these interests include kayaking, canoeing, visual arts, performing arts, computing and of course - camping, which is part of every kiwi's life over here in New Zealand :) Anyway, I just thought I would pop this little introduction in here :) Regards, Andrea

Hey there,

Last summer I worked at a camp for kids with learning disabilities where the average age of the staff was 24. It was lots of fun and lots of hardwork. Quite a few of the staff are teachers so you would feel right at home. As well, we had staff from all over the world.

The camp is located in Northern Ontario, Canada. It's a small camp with two sessions of about 50 kids. Each session lasted 3 weeks. The camp is called camp Towhee.. look it up.

If you want any other info at all jsut send me an e-mail and I will get back to you!

Cheers,

Jay - jinxy22@yahoo.com
