On May 1, 2006, columnist Gary Stanek of Stamford CT’s The Advocate, mentioned MySummerCamps.com, in his article, The Camp Question.
Stanek’s article is a perceptive look at how kids and parents can learn to share in the important process of supporting each others choices and research.
Here’s an excerpt from the article:
Most questions are answered with a simple online search. Google the phrase "day camps New England," for example, and you come up with almost 34 million hits. Try "sleep-away camps New England" and you get about 58,000 hits. One of the bigger Web sites devoted to camp information is MySummerCamps.com where you can sort through more than 16,000 camps in New England alone. The most popular camp situation right now? Residential sports camps.
