Though school just ended Friday, more than 450 students are heading back there for the next five weeks to study music.
"I wanted to go to summer music camp because I wanted to get ready for school," said 11-year-old Prosper Anderson.
Prosper, who plays the violin, worked with music teacher Sharman Tokerud and classmate Audra Searcy to re-learn some of the basics students learn in beginning fifth-grade band and orchestra before moving into sixth-grade orchestra.
The pair are part of the Great Falls Public Schools summer music camp, with students in grades five through 12 spread out at various locations across town to re-hash the basics and get ready for next school year.
