The end of school is nearly upon us, and for many parents it brings with it the age-old dilemma: How to keep the kids entertained.
Well, thanks to programs being offered around the city, Thunder Bay families are in luck when it comes to staving off the familiar "We're bored!" battle cry.

The city's recreation and culture division has unveiled the lineup of activities for its Youth Zone summer program for kids ages 12 to 17.

We are pleased to provide a variety of opportunities that are safe, engaging, accessible, and fun for the youth of our community,said recreation and culture supervisor Myles Cizmar of the program that offers everything from a music festival to "girl-empowerment"events.
