The staff of Ogier & Boxalls raised CI$3,000 during the month of July and as part of the firm’s on-going commitment to the community, they used the money to send the eight foster kids from the National Council of Voluntary Organisations’ (NCVO) Nadine Andreas Residential Foster Home to summer camp and buy their school supplies.
“We feel strongly about initiating causes such as this one as we are able to give something meaningful to those kids who would otherwise do without,” said Denise Gower, Business Development and Marketing Manager at Ogier & Boxalls.
“It is wonderful to be able to directly impact a child’s life in such a positive way”.
The $3,000 not only covered the full costs of attending two summer camps and their school supplies for the upcoming year, but there was enough left over to take the whole group of them to the movies, complete with popcorn and sodas.
