Rhythmic by Nature
Group Drumming is a recreational music-making activity that utilizes hand drums and percussion instruments allowing each participant the opportunity to express his or her unique rhythms while at the same time contributing to the group song. Each group drumming program incorporates basic hand drumming technique, rhythm based exercises, and is rooted in non-judgment, community, self-expression, spontaneity and FUN. Emphasis is placed on the process of making music together rather than on a final product. No previous drumming or musical experience is necessary, and instruments are provided by the facilitator.
