A private part of paradise …

Camp Choconut is nestled near the center of over 700 acres of fields, woods and footpaths. The private lake is half-mile across, almost as wide, and its pristine waters have never seen a motorboat.

The quiet is enthralling, but make as much noise as you like – the two closest neighbors are across the lake and they are happy to have you visit the area.

A perfect day, in the perfect place...

Weddings are special at Camp Choconut; with charming places of worship for almost all faiths within 30-minutes of camp. A 100-year-old chapel is a short 10-minute walk on a wooded path, yet accessible by car. Many couples choose to hold their ceremony in the Vista, the top of the wide lawn that leads to the private lake.

Let your imagination go... we can help you plan your event, or work with your professional planner to make sure everything is in place on your wedding day. Horse-drawn carriages, a heated tent, bonfires... we want to make your dreams real!

Accommodations

We can sleep up to 80 people in the rustic cabins and the 50-year-old Winlock House. We also have lots of room for tents and campers. Two separate bathroom facilities for men and women enhance privacy. Those who do not wish to stay at camp have the choice of many fine hotels in Greater Binghamton, Vestal, NY and Montrose, PA.

Our 75-year-old stone meeting house, Alumni End, can accommodate many people for a stand-up buffet and bar in the two rooms and on the  full-length veranda. An intimate gathering works well in front of the five-foot tall fireplace.

The Dining Hall can seat up to 180 at a formal dinner and the restaurant-quality kitchen is easy to use, whether your group prefers communal cooking or enjoying a scrumptious meal prepared by a fine caterer.

We can recommend local caterers, equipment rental companies and other local business to help make your event easy to produce and successful.
