Acera School Summer Program is a creativity-based arts and sciences day camp where children ages 7-14 can nurture their natural desire to inquire, create, and innovate. Students can explore a wide range of topics, including forensic science, biomimicry design and engineering, improvisational musical theater, computer programming and game design, lab-based biology and chemistry courses, construction, alternative energy engineering, filmmaking, and much more. Our staff consists of professionals with significant experience in the classroom and in their own fields of expertise. Among them are award winners, active research scientists, and working artists. We offer high-caliber, authentic, engaging instruction. We believe that little people can understand big ideas and can be engaged in meaningful ways, using real tools, to solve problems they care about!
Sessions will run in one-week increments, and you can sign your child up for any number of sessions. Fees per week range from $250 to $350 for half days (9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. / 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.) or $500 to $700 for full days (9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.). Early drop off and extended day options will be available for an additional fee.
