Aquatic Science Adventure Camp

The Aquatic Science Adventure Camp is one of the longest-running science camps in Texas. Since 1988, the Edwards Aquifer Research & Data Center at Texas State University has invited thousands of campers from across the country to experience the wonder of discovery and thrill of adventure! Campers learn through exploration and hands-on activities related to water and the environment. We believe in the power of experiential learning and self-directed discovery. Whether it’s a bug hunt in the creek, whitewater rafting, or using research-grade laboratory equipment to investigate the microscopic world, all of our activities are designed to engage our campers’ and impart an understanding of the world around them. Campers will experience what scientists do for a living and learn in a university setting in a variety of 1-day to 5-day overnight and day camps. Our motto is “real science, real fun!” for a reason!
