Architecture Engineering and Project Management Camps For Youth
We study, experiment, build structures, play games. Using Lego or REAL building material, we teach the REAL deal!
Kidz Engineering 101, Inc. (Club KE 101), a nonprofit corporation, is a fun educational program for children in grade levels 1st through 9th providing a multidisciplinary architectural and engineering curriculum through project-based workshops. Classes, taught by professionals in the industry, are offered during after-school classes and summer camps, focusing on Science Technology Engineering Math (STEM) education, its real-life applications in careers of Architecture, Engineering, and Project Management.
Club KE101 program is prepared with many topics to ignite as many avenues as possible to new information and interests, thus giving your child a sneak peak to many future careers. The method of teaching is designed to match the age level of the group.
Club KE101 uses LEGO's and beyond. The material we use for each camp depends on the curriculum. Materials are thoughtfully chosen and designed to give your child the greatest advantage in learning the subject, depending on the grade level. While our Lego camps are ever popular and ongoing especially for the younger ones, we use Lego like dangling carrots. Learn the "Function" before creating the "Form" is the basic principle behind our play. Our curriculum material goes beyond Legos and expands to recycled material, found material and REAL Building Material. After all, when it comes to real life applications, we have to use real stuff, right? So, let's teach them the REAL deal!
