The Spanish Language and Culture Program offers students the chance to study Spanish language and culture during the summer in the university town of Salamanca, Spain. Programs are available with and without college credit. Classes are conducted in Spanish and are held in the mornings. For the non-credit option (14-15 year olds), classes take place at a centrally-located language and culture institute in Salamanca; classes for the college credit option (16-18 year olds) are held at the University of Salamanca. Afternoons and weekends are filled with cultural activities and organized excursions.
Younger students will live together with the Aspire on-site director at a local student residence; older students will have the additional option of staying with a host family while abroad.
