The program, now in its 32nd year, will again be directed by Mr. Carlos Barquín who has been at Belen Jesuit since 1969. He is currently the Athletic Director and Track & Field Coach.
Supervised Camp activities will be from 8:30 am. to 4:30 p.m. School will open at 7:00 a.m. and close at 6:00 p.m. There is no direct supervision of campers or organized activities before 8:30 a.m. and after 4:30 p.m. No child may remain past 6:00 p.m. After 6:00 p.m. there will be an additional charge of $5.00 for every 15 minutes per camper, to be paid in cash.
Lunch will be prepared by Sage Dining Services which will include an end-of-day snack. Lunch is included in the summer camp fee.
Registration will be limited to the first 1,100 children. The registration fee will be $100.00.
Orientation meeting for parents of new campers is set for Saturday, June 13th at 10 a.m. sharp. Camp will be closed Thursday, July 3 (Independence Day Observation). There will be a 1:00 p.m. dismissal on Friday, July 31st.
The Belen Summer Camp is the largest day camp in all of Miami-Dade County.
