Camp Jotoni is a day and residential camp for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are located in Warren Township in Somerset County, New Jersey. Our Day Camp Program is a 9 week program ending the Friday before Labor Day. Our Residential Program runs the first six weeks of the summer and is broken down into weekly sessions. Families can choose between 5-night, 7-night, and 12-night sessions.
At Camp Jotoni our mission is to provide recreation and respite services for children with developmental and intellectual disabilities. We are an ACA accredited summer camp with both day and residential sessions.
Day Camp - Day camp runs Monday through Friday beginning at 9am and ending at 3pm. During those hours campers will experience nature, games, physical education, arts & crafts, music, swimming and lunch. Lunch is prepared on the premises and is included. New this year, Camp Jotoni will be offering 1pm-5pm hours for campers that are enrolled in a half day extended school program.
Residential Camp - In addition to our day camp activities, residential campers will participate in activities such as tie dying, outdoor movies, DJ Dance parties and more. Campers attending 13-day sessions will take part in an offsite trip such as a baseball game, bowling, zoo, or aquarium. Residential sessions are open to all ages for the first 6 weeks. After signing up for a specific session, camp administration will inform families of movie in times the week prior to attending. All New Residential Camper applications must be received before June 1, 2015. Any new residential camper applications received after that date will be automatically be placed on a waiting list.
Travel Camp - At Camp Jotoni we strive to promote independence and our travel camp is meant to encourage choice making and self-confidence through recreational activities. This season we will be going to Virginia Beach, Virginia. More details will become available in the Spring!
