Camp Lohikan has been my summer home for the past twelve years. I started as a camper when I was 8 years old, and I immediately loved the staff, activities, atmosphere, and most of all the people that I met there. From the age of 8 to 15 I was a camper where I met some of my best friends who I'm still friends with today. I am now a lifeguard and cabin counselor (for the past 5 years), which let me see another side of camp. I see how hardworking all of the staff is at Lohikan, and how the directors and counselors go above and beyond to ensure the best summer for the campers. I had the best summers of my life at Lohikan, from making long-lasting friendships and simply having the best time with the variety of activities, and I'm so happy to be able to create the same experiences for the current campers.

I had a great time at camp! this summer was my first year, and it was AMAZING!! everyone was so welcoming and I had the best experience ever!!

This camp is definitely an all around plus! My child had gone to this camp for 3 years (last summer being her last) and absolutely loved each more and more each time she had gone. Although I must say some counselors are nicer than others, it is a pretty friendly environment. If your child is more of the shy type I HIGHLY recommend he/she go to camp with a close friend of theirs. For some it makes the experience a lot more enjoyable and comfortable, especially if they are more reserved than others or it is their first time at a sleepaway camp. Lastly, there are so many different activities to chose from at this camp. Your child is definitely bound to find something they will really enjoy participating in. Camp Lohikan is a great way for your child to make new friends and have a blast!

My child will be going this summer and is overly excited. she talks about it everyday and whenever we go anywhere, she picks out something (whether it be a t-shirt of shampoo that smells like cake batter) that she "has to have for camp!" I have some friends who have sent there children here for many years and love the whole experience. According to their children, the activities are extremley fun and they have never been bored. I am proud to send my chil there for the first time.
