Camp Trillium is a children's CANCER camp. We believe that cancer affects the entire family unit. Our mission is to normalize these families lives through traditional, recreational camping programs. We emphasize creating lasting memories through relationships and fun, non inclusive experiences, helping everyone in the healing process, and enhancing their quality of life.

Camp Trillium facilitates three summer camps:

1) Camp Trillium-Garratt's Island: Established in 1989, this 57 acre island is located in the beautiful surroundings of West Lake, Ontario. We facilitate 11 residential sessions (ages 8-15) and 6 day family camps (for all ages).

2) Camp Trillium- Rainbow Lake: Established in 1998, this 176 acre winterized facility is located in the heart of Waterford Ontario. Residential and family camps are also facilitated. Because Rainbow Lake is a winterized site Winter/Spring and Fall weekend camps are also available at a residential and family camp setting.

BOTH SITES INCLUDE TEEN PROGRAMS

3) Camp Trillium Day Camp: This travelling day camp offers programs to 8 major city centers parks throughout Ontario, Canada. For children ages 4-7; this five day (8:30am-4:00pm) daycamp includes special visitors, swimming, and programs which incorporate adventure, exploration, and FUN!

STAFFING: All of our programs rely on volunteers, as well as paid staff positions. Paid staff are required to attend a paid 2 week training session starting in June. Staff must stay the entire summer, block days off are provided between session.

Volunteers have the option to attend per camping session, or all summer.

Camp Trillium prides itself for being the only cancer camp of it's kind in Ontario. We provide safe programs that foster and maintain strong relationships, challenges campers to the best of their abilities, and focus on just having Fun!  Thus, creating a environment of empowerment, and normality.
