Now in its 13th year, our camp is a weeklong, residential co-ed program for kids from nine to 15 years old. This summer, it will run from Sunday, July 5 (late afternoon) to Saturday, July 11 (early morning) on our picturesque 32-acre site in St. Marys, Ontario. Our complex boasts four ball fields, walking trails and a museum that showcases the country’s most storied baseball artifacts.
We’re excited to have Dom Dinelle returning for his sixth year to lead our camp. With nine seasons of professional baseball experience – including tenures with the Trois-Rivières Saints of the Canadian Baseball League and with the Intercounty League’s London Majors – under his belt, Dom is widely recognized as one of the top instructors in the country. Founder of Dinelle Baseball and a partner with America’s Baseball Camps, Dom has taught baseball fundamentals in eight countries. From 2000 to 2005, he also served as an associate scout with the Montreal Expos and Miami Marlins, while as a player he competed in independent professional circuits like the Northern League and Canada / New-York State League.
Other highly qualified coaches and former Montreal Expos manager Jim Fanning will assist with the activities to ensure that the program runs at a proper ratio of campers to coaches and that participants will receive the best instruction available. We also provide quality accommodations, nutritious meals (catered by a local restaurant) and a unique opportunity to learn about Canadian baseball history.
