This camp includes three sessions of three week duration. The following are highlights of the session, contact us for a complete roster. Session I is all about conservation and includes nature walks and natural history, organic gardening, chickens 101, and sustainability. Session II is wildlife and wilderness self-reliance and includes Leave No Trace, rehab & rescue of wildlife, campfire cookery, poisonous plant identification, bird watching. Session II is A Week in the Life of a Pioneer Family and includes history, daily chores, candle and soap making, knots and lashing, blacksmithing, horse whispering, and Native American Crafts. Week three of each session includes a wilderness camp out.
