Eagle's Nest Camp is a small, nurturing environment located in the mountains of western North Carolina. Our capacity of 158 campers per session allows us to maintain a 1:4 staff to camper ratio and give each child the individual attention they require.
Our philosophy at camp is one of inclusivity; that is, everyone at camp is welcomed and valued as a contributing member of our community. We do not have a religious emphasis; instead we emphasize each child's spirituality and recognize the worth of their beliefs.
Every camper at Eagle's Nest is a member of many different communities, from their cabin group, to their tribe, to their table family, to their activity group. Your child will have the opportunity to meet campers from all over the world and to make lifelong friendships.
The Eagle's Nest Mission: Experiential education for young people, promoting the natural world and the betterment of human character.

Awesome, lovable, super special summer camp. I attended from age 11-15 as a camper and taught at ENC as a counselor from age 21-29. This is a beautiful campus nestled by the little river among the rhododendrons, about 2,500 feet elevation below the blue ridge mountains near Brevard, NC. Eagle's nest is a very special place, very inclusive and supportive of children having the best experience possible of belonging to a tribe. The 40 or so acres of camp has three lakes, streams, hills, a huge athletic field, barn with horses, an enormous garden which feeds the kitchen, and lots of camping and outdoor experiences. Boys and girls cabins nestle in the woods and kids love it so much they come back year after year. We call them "nesters" or "lifers". Square dance, woodworking, arts and crafts, soccer, tennis, horseback, rock climbing, river and lake canoeing; the possibilities are endless. Also ENC is known for it's specialty one of a kind classes like "Best of the Nest" (where you try a little of everything) and special "Hante" outdoor excursion courses that travel to places like Scotland and Spain. Highly recommend this camp as a gem!
