FILMMAKERS INK – Film Making, Acting, Screenwriting, Editing… And More! Want to see your name in lights? Here's your chance! Join Filmmakers Ink's team of Award-winning filmmakers and artists and make magic! Filmmakers Ink, under the leadership of award-winning filmmaker, Patrick McCullough, has set itself apart from other film programs through the depth of knowledge and achievement in our staff, who’ve produced Sundance Grand Jury Prize-Winning films, and smaller award-winning independent films, like Beautiful Kid featuring Pulitzer Prize-Winning author, Frank McCourt, which Variety called, a film with "astonishing integrity." Filmmakers Ink offers programs in CT and MA, in the towns of Darien, Westport, Stamford, Wilton, Fairfield, Farmington, Litchfield and Amherst. The staff includes Patrick McCullough, Writer, Director, Actor and Producer, who just finished shooting his third feature film, Loop, and also a finalist in the Sundance Film Festival Screenwriting Program, and Chosei Funahara, mentored by Akira Kurosawa (the renowned Japanese filmmaker, director of films such as Ran and The Seven Samurai). Chosei has made over 60 films and has won an MTV award for Best American Video. Filmmakers Ink provides intensive creative instruction in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. We will be building confidence in our young filmmakers by teaching teamwork with daily success, giving each a strong foundation in collaboration, imagination, creativity and storytelling. Whether writing, directing or acting in the role you were born to play, you will never forget this experience. Ages 11 to 16 programs include; Filmmaking, Editing, Acting for Film and Screenwriting. Ages 8 to 10 programs include Special Effects.
