Interlochen Center for the Arts engages and inspires people worldwide through excellence in educational, artistic and cultural programs, enhancing the quality of life through the universal language of the arts.
My daughter enjoyed this summer session a lot. She had been to previous camps and had not been as happy, as she is not a sporty girl. For any who like sports and outdoors, Interlochen is not the best choice, since limited activities are done outdoors (some volleyball, swimming, paddling, canoe); but those who love arts, drawing, sculpture, writing, film, music, (including piano, orchestra or singing), theatre, etc., and meeting other artists like them; this is the best place to go. Location is beautiful, and professors are fantastic.
