Spring Camp All About Bugs! 

April 2-6, 2012
For Children ages 6-10

Come and learn the science behind what makes bugs tick, hiss, squeak, creep and crawl, and why they are so important for our environment. Campers will have the opportunity to visit with some of our in-house bug friends and go searching for the bugs that call the Pasadena Arroyo their home! We'll recreate the beauty of a butterfly wing, fashion our own silly caterpillars and imagine what our own bug might look like, do and where it might live. All that and much more at this year's Spring Camp: All About Bugs!

Week 1 - Arroyo Adventures Camp 
July 23 - 27, 2012
For Children ages 6-10

Join us as we venture into the eco-friendly modes of creating art and learning about the environment and how to protect it. Flex your creative and scientific muscles and let your imagination soar as we learn about the importance of environmental science. Going Greenis more than just a passing fad, so come learn and explore nature and art through organic materials and the green environment at Kidspace!

Week 2 - Gross! Anatomy Camp
July 30 - August 3, 2012
For Children ages 6-10

Why do humans and animals, scab, ooze and smell? Can you change the smell of your urine? Where does spit come from?Step into the science world at Kidspace Children's Museum to make some fake snot, blood, slimy finger painting and more as you discover all that makes us uniquely and grossly human!

Week 3 - Physics Camp 
August 6 - 10, 2012
For Children ages 7-11

Come and awaken that physics force within you as you participate in some exciting and engaging fun physics art and science experiments every day of the week in our Physics Camp. Become a Kidspace physicists and examine Newton's Laws of Motion and get energized with Einstein's famous formula, E=mc². You will discover and experience some of the forces that are constantly at play in your everyday life.

Week 4 - Outer Space Adventure Camp 
August 13 - 17, 2012
For Children ages 7-11

Discover the world of outer space as Kidspace teams up with the Jet Propulsion Laboratory to create an Outer Space Adventure. Learn about robotics in space, learn what it takes to survive in the harsh environment of outer space and learn the ins and outs of our solar system. You will experience the science of space exploration as you get to see a real Space Rover up close. So come train to be an astronaut and budding astronomers.
