LAUNCH Camp

LAUNCH Summer Camps has 2 tracks that run simultaneously: an ESL program for international students and a program for native English speakers. Both tracks have the option for campers to board in our beautiful dormitory on campus. 

Programming & Rocketry

The first week of camp will feature an interactive coding project with hands-on instruction from an engineer and esteemed Maharishi School teacher. The second week will feature our rocketry program. It will include designing, building, and flying model rockets with designated altitude targets and time duration for a particular motor classification. We will measure the performance of our rockets against simulation to determine the success of the design. Participants will be guided by a Maharishi School graduate: an experienced senior rocketeer who competed in national competitions and in partnership with NASA. Maharishi School has placed in the top ten in the U.S. in the Team America Rocketry Challenge and one of only 15 U.S. schools in the NASA Student Launch program in 2018. Afternoons will be filled with fun activities like swimming, art, sports, hiking, and yoga. 

Campers can learn Transcendental Meditation during the camp for an additional cost.
