North Country Camps - Lincoln & Whippoorwill - are located in the Adirondack region of New York State. We are a fun and adventurous program offering many activities in camp and an extensive wilderness trip program - hiking, canoeing, bicycling and sailing in the Adirondack and Lake Champlain region. Activities in camp include horseback riding, sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, canoe, row, swim, art, woodshop, dance, drama, baseball, softball, soccer, basketball, lacrosse, archery, tennis, on-road and off-road bicycling, adventure-challenge and ropes course. Campers live in wood-framed cabins with their counselors. While rustic, our youngest campers have electricity and bathrooms in their cabins. Older campers have shared bathrooms. Campers live in cabin groups with their peers, and all activities are chosen daily and weekly by individual interest. We have a counselor to camper ratio of 1:3, and 90% of our campers return each season. The majority of our campers attend for the full 7 1/2 week season. We offer a 5 week option, and first-time campers of any age can choose to register for 3 weeks with the option to stay longer.
