Participants of all skill levels will learn acting, dancing, and singing skills from professional teaching artists. Every session culminates in a performance on RTW's historic main stage. Dance Workshops (Ages 4 - 19, $40) Explore creative expression through motion in these multi-genre dance workshops. Meet our dance faculty, and learn more about our year-long dance programs. Mini Broadway Boot Camps (Ages 7-12, $350) Curtain up! Light the lights! In this week-long program, students will create and perform an original Musical Review. Students will collaborate to select scenes, songs, and dances from their favorite musicals based on a chosen theme. Creative Play and Dramatics (Ages 4-6, $700) Young performers will explore a theme through poems, stories and songs. A Teaching Artist will guide students through the process of inventing their own play, and bringing it to life onstage. Participants will learn reading comprehension, improve gross motor skills, and build their senses of creativity, collaboration, and confidence. Acting, dancing, singing, and simple set and prop creation will help students to soar onstage and off! Kid Broadway Boot Camps (Ages 7 - 12, $700) Participants in these three-week intensives will rehearse and mount a fully-staged production with RTW’s professional artistic and teaching staff. The cast will work in ensemble through the excitement and challenges of the rehearsal process to begin developing more advanced acting, dance, and vocal technique. This program is great preparation for RTW’s School Year Performance Troupes! Teen Broadway Boot Camps (Ages 13 - 19, $550) Participants in these three-week intensives will rehearse and mount a fully-staged production with RTW’s professional artistic and teaching staff. The cast will work in ensemble through the excitement and challenges of the rehearsal process to begin developing more advanced acting, dance, and vocal technique. This program is great preparation for RTW’s School Year Performance Troupes!
