This two weeklong dance intensive is geared towards dedicated; hard-working dance students who want to improve both their technique and choreography skills.
Held on the 515-acre campus of San Domenico School, students will be inspired by the beauty and natural setting that surrounds the campus and dance studio. Students will receive daily technical training across all types of contemporary dance, with a focus on modern, jazz, and ballet. Beyond technique, students will collaborate with San Domenico Dance faculty, to create and produce an original dance to be performed on June 28.
San Domenico Dance Faculty, Alyssa Carnahan who is a master teacher with extensive choreography and professional dance experience, directs this camp. San Domenico offers a four-year dance program providing students with opportunities to explore dance from beginning to pre-professional levels, with the option of multiple classes offered five days per week for the serious dance student. The San Domenico dance faculty has performed with companies such as Oakland Ballet, The Dance Brigade, American Dance Machine, and the San Francisco Jazz Dance Company.
