More details about each learning focus can be found below:
Engineering – Students will introduce students of all ages to the exciting world of Engineering through a full week of competitions and engaging activities.
Coding - Students will program their very own video game in Python using Pixelpad. We will cover fundamental coding topics such as loops, if-statements, a coordinate grid, and functions. Each week students will tailor their game to a different theme such as "Everything Falls Apart", "Chain Reaction", or "A Small World".
Digital Art – Students will learn to create virtual and physical art. They will draw and design in 3D using Tinkercad. They will create pixel and photo-edited art across several frames to make animations. Using our green screen, we will have students insert themselves into their own game on Pixelpad.
