Farm Camp runs Monday-Friday from late June to the end of July from 8:30-3:30. Extended care is available. Campers enjoy healthy snacks every day, but will need to bring their own lunch. It's been said that to save the world, the first thing we need to do is go outside. We need to know one place well and learn to care for it together. Our campers get to know land, farmers, animals and new friends as one community. We look forward to the energy and spirit of your children with us at camp!
Little-Sprouts Pre-School Program - Little Sprouts gives our youngest campers and their folks a chance to explore and learn about the world hands-on. Each morning has a different theme such as:
Seeds are Full of Life
Green & GrowingThings
The Chicken and the Egg
Flowers are Amazing
Campers at Snipes Farm Day Camp get into the rhythm of farm life. Every day begins with farm chores, tending the children's garden, harvesting and cooking. Nature walks, group games and playtime, as well as science, art and music activities are woven through the program. These experiences connect kids to life around them and give them an appreciation for the work and value of home grown food and home cooking.
Camp Activities Can Incude:
Picking berries and making smoothies
Exploring the world of bugs, lizards, toads and worms
Creating nature-inspired art projects
