At Stonehill Sports Camps, we offer athletic instruction right on the campus of Stonehill College for children, depending on each camp, in grades 1-12. We give your student-athlete access to premier, state-of-the-art facilities and instruction from NCAA-level coaches and players.

At any of our camps, your student-athlete will get direct one-on-one instruction from coaches who win tournaments and championships. Our sports camps are a fun-filled environment, designed for athletes at all levels. All of our camps focus on individual skills and team play to prepare them for future competition.

 

Softball Camp Description: we offer sports instruction right on the campus of Stonehill College for student-athletes in grades 5-12. We give your student-athlete access to premier, state-of-the-art facilities and instruction from NCAA coaches and players. At Stonehill Softball Camp, your student-athlete will get direct, age-appropriate, and one-on-one instruction from highly qualified and experienced coaches. Our Softball Camp focuses on the fundamentals of the game. We emphasize all aspects of the game, from hitting, fielding, pitching, base running, and conditioning.

Soccer Description(BOYS) - The goal of the Stonehill Soccer College Prep Camps is to make each individual camper better, while providing adequate preparation for high school and collegiate athletics. The camp staff works hard to make sure campers improve tactically as both individual and team players. This camp camp is open to athletes enrolled in grades 9-12, and designed to give players an opportunity to experience a NCAA training environment, focusing on speed of play, technique, and both idividual and team tactics. Additionally, campers will receive insight into recruiting with seminars and question and answers sessions with the coaches.

The coaching staff includes highly qualified collegiate level coaches, club coaches, as well as current, and former student-athletes at Stonehill College. The men's camp is directed by head coach, Jim Reddish. The men's soccer team had an extremely successful 2011 season, and they look forward to continue building on that success in 2012.

(GIRLS) - The goal of the Stonehill Soccer College Prep Camps is to make each individual camper better, while providing adequate preparation for high school and collegiate athletics. Tennis Description: Our Tennis Camp is a great environment designed for all levels of players. Our focus is on individual skills in order to prepare them for competition. The one aspect we give your child is access to world-class collegiate facilities and instruction from NCAA-level coaches.

Track and Field Description: Our Track and Field camp starts by giving each camper a comprehensive plan to develop them in every aspect of their specific events. We work on general conditioning, drill work, running workouts, weight-training, and technique with the goal of producing outstanding meet results.

Our Camp Director is Rich Hart, assistant coach of the Men's and Women's Track and Field Teams at Stonehill. Coach Hart has over 34 years of coaching experience, the last 15 of which have been at the collegiate level. During Hart's tenure, the Skyhawks men and women have consistently outperformed the competition at the Conference, New England, and National levels. Runners for both the men's and the women's squads under Hart have run in multiple National Championships. He has coached eleven collegiate All-Americans, and his athletes have won 23 individual All-New England titles. Last year, Hart coached the Division II National High Jump Champion. Prior to Stonehill, Hart served as an assistant track and field coach at Northeastern University from 1999-2004.

Cross Country Camp Description: Our Cross Country camp starts by giving each camper a comprehensive plan to develop them in every aspect of their specific events. We work on general conditioning, drill work, running workouts, weight-training, and technique with the goal of producing outstanding meet results.

Our Camp Director is Karen Boen, Head Coach of the Skyhawks Men and Woman Cross Country Teams. Coach Karen Boen is now in her 14th season as Head Cross Country Coach at Stonehill College. Boen has brought the men's and women's cross country and track and field programs to national prominence, collecting countless conference, regional and national awards along the way. She has collected a combined 12 Northeast-10 Coach of the Year Awards and eight more NCAA Northeast Region Coach of the Year Awards, while advancing her teams to the NCAA Championships.
