Surf Camp

Surf Camp at the Westin Kierland is Arizona’s coolest weekly summer camp!  This is a chance for boys and girls ages 8-12 (over 52”) to get that surf experience right here in the desert.  The camp’s focus is having fun on the Kierland FlowRider with personalized coaching from the “Wave Master”.  Each day campers will get two hours of ride time where they will learn and improve their bodyboard and flowboard skills with daily lessons and trick tips.  They will also participate in surf related activities, games, crafts, and Flowga (Flowboard Yoga).  Campers enjoy a daily lunch and will receive a bone carved Maori surf necklace and rashguard.  Create lifelong friendships and memories while catching a wave this summer on the Kierland FlowRider at Surf Camp!

What Campers Receive
-Custom Kierland FlowRider “Surf Camp” rashguard

-5 surf themed crafts they will create
-A total of 10 hours on the FlowRider (5 bodyboard, 5 flowboard)

What Campers Should Bring to Camp
-They should arrive covered in sunscreen with extra to re-apply
-They should arrive in swimsuit
-A hat and sunglasses if desired for time not on the FlowRider
-A positive attitude

What Campers Should NOT Bring to Camp
-Cell phones
-iPods/iPads
-Cameras (parents will have an opportunity to take pictures on Friday)
-A bad attitude
