Tamwood International Camps

Located in five of North American’s most exciting destinations: Whistler, Vancouver, Boston, Los Angeles and San Francisco; Tamwood summer camps will quickly be your child's favourite!

Camp programs for juniors, ages 7-12 and for teens, ages 13-17 in all locations are offered. The unique international mix of its campers helps to provide an opportunity few other camps can offer like learning about foreign peoples and cultures and to meet and make friends with young people from all around the world!

Tamwood offers the following camp programs:

English Camp – in Boston, Whistler, Vancouver, San Francisco and Los Angeles: ages 7-17

Teen Adventure Camp – in Whistler – ages 13-18

Whistler, host venue for the 2010 winter Olympics, is a great place to spend the summer vacation.  With access by gondola to high alpine areas, four fresh water lakes, over 25 kilometers of paved bicycle and numerous nature hikes and mountain bike trails Whistler will surely have an adventure in store!

Tamwood's Teen Adventure Camp in Whistler is for campers ages 13-17 who want to experience a challenging and exciting summer. Campers learn downhill and cross-country mountain biking, rock climbing, kayaking, wilderness camping, and leadership from world class specialists. There are two exciting three day trips in the Whistler back country.

In Vancouver, the camp runs on the beautiful campus of Simon Fraser University. All campers take 15 hours per week of English classes combined with sports lessons, adventure and cultural activities and sightseeing excursions for an excellent balance of education and adventure!

In San Francisco, Among spectacular natural beauty, San Francisco is recognized as one of the world’s most livable cities. The city is located at the tip of the San Francisco Peninsula, with the Pacific Ocean to the west, San Francisco Bay to the east, and the Golden Gate to the north. Surrounded by water San Francisco is home to spectacular natural scenery and a bustling metropolitan core, and boasts a mild climate. San Francisco is a popular international tourist destination famous for its landmarks, including the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, the cable cars, Coit Tower and China Town, its steep rolling hills, and its eclectic mix of architecture. The city is also known for its diverse, cosmopolitan population. With long beaches, lots of nature, lots of culture and history, San Francisco is a wonderful place for young people to live and learn.

The question in Los Angeles is never what to do, but where to begin. Los Angeles is home to many famous  attractions - your choices include amusement parks, architectural landmarks, art museums and galleries, beaches, parks, hiking and shopping, to name a few. Tamwood Summer Camp is located at

the Sunset Village on the UCLA campus. It is located in the residential area of Westwood and bordered by Bel-Air, Beverly Hills and Brentwood. Its central Los Angeles location makes it the perfect place for this summer camp which is so rich in sightseeing excursions.

The city of Boston is America’s premier college town and one of its most international cities. First incorporated in 1630, Boston is also One of the United States’ oldest cities.

Our Boston Summer Camp is located at Curry College. Situated on 135-acre wooded campus and only 7 miles from the downtown core of Boston, Curry College is a great location not only for its beauty but also for the safety and security that it provides for our Summer Camp.
