What training did a Roman Soldier go through in ancient times? This camp will teach you how to use weapons such as the sling and javelin as well as what relay games were used to train soldiers. Campers will learn about the evolution of the Roman military and how it was part of the Roman culture while making their own armor. Campers will also use a catapult and build their own scale model working catapult. Each day incorporates active time and hands-on projects as well as educational components. Train to be a Roman Soldier this summer! Oakeshott is a 501(c)(3) and 50% of camp fees are tax deductible
