The Wilson Collegiate Tennis camp at Miami University in beautiful Oxford, Ohio, is one of the fastest-growing tennis camps in the Midwest. This residential (with non-boarding options) camp emphasizes skill development in a fun and competitive environment, directed by Miami head women's tennis coach Ricardo Rosas. The Miami camp is the perfect preparation for young players looking to get more involved with playing tennis. Each camper receives personal attention, advanced teaching techniques, intensive drill work, and game/match play, all in a fun and competitive environment. Campers are broken into small instructional groups with similar age., ability and experience, so each child is working in a group that is commensurate with their experience level and tailor the instruction to the level of the players.Beginners would get a heavier dose of swing technique and fundamentals, while more advanced players would focus on strategy, point building, percentage tennis, etc.HIGHLIGHTS OF THE CAMP INCLUDE:-Comprehensive instructional program with daily teaching progressions-Small instructional groups to ensure individual attention-Safety prioritized on and off the court-Camp demo program with all the latest Wilson rackets-Great Wilson Raffle and prizes for all campers
