Youth Heritage Project (YHP) is a FREE overnight field school for high-school students, focused on the history, culture, and nature of Washington’s special places. This summer, students will explore the relationship between humans and the landscape. There will be opportunities to engage in hands-on activities to help conservation efforts, visit historic sites and unique museums, and learn about co-management of cultural resources. YHP students are also paired with local organizations to address real-world issues in the community and will work in groups on project proposals that they will present at the conclusion of the jam-packed week. YHP is free to attend, but interested students must apply. Applications are due May 27!
