Head back to the park's center when the kids are worn out and have a picnic lunch.

Unravel behind-the-scenes mysteries with a backstage tour. Let your little one dig deeper into theater during the center's workshops featuring storytelling, dance, music and more. There's something available for kids of every age at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts.

Nourish your child's understanding of where food comes from at Centennial Farm, a 3-acre working property that treats parents and kids to a glimpse of everyday life on a farm. Wander through the lush fields and orchards where you'll spy growing fruits and vegetables. Learn how oxen help farmers plow a field or check out the livestock. You can hear pigs oink, chickens cluck and see goats kick up their heels as you peruse the venue. Stop by in the spring and baby animals abound. The farm offers guided tours and a variety of special events meant to engage children.
