Classes are held from 9am to 4pm daily in the Visual Arts Complex on the Fullerton campus. The camp gives young people the opportunity to explore life on a university campus and learn from current art professionals. Additionally, several types of art media will be taught including drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture and 3D design and arts. Check out all they have to offer by going here.
Take the whole family to discover the wonders of nature at the Fullerton Arboretum. Saunter through the grounds' manicured gardens and launch your child into learning with a guided tour targeted at children in first grade and younger. Grow imaginations as kids explore the green gardens full of a rainbow of blooming plants. Explore shaded paths in the arboretum's wooded region. You will be sure to sprout a better understanding of how things grow in the community gardens or at one of their many educational programs.
Chase your child into energy burning fun at Craig Regional Park. Wind your way through the park on one of the paved bike paths for some two-wheeled action. Challenge the little ones to a game of tag on grassy, rolling open space, and then take on the older kids in a game of baseball. Spot a shady nook along the bank of the pond and take the kids fishing. Top things off with a picnic lunch in a provided shelter.
Jump into good times at Pumper Jumpers. Let the little ones slip into adventure on one of the giant inflatable slides. Bounce around in an inflatable house, and then challenge the children to a high-flying game of dodge ball, while poised on a trampoline. Unleash older kids’ energy in a room packed with ping pong tables and air hockey, then let them scoot over to the Xbox and Wii game room for gaming action. Let little tykes' imaginations unfurl while they cook up a good time in the provided play kitchen or bounce on a trampoline reserved only for younger children.
