Cavort among the treetops in Adventure Park at the Discovery Museum. Harness up the whole family and plunge into a good time when you fly along on a zip line. Mount an excellent adventure in one of the park's 161 challenge bridges. Scale straight up one of ten trees at Monkey Grove and imagine life with the wild primates. You'll be snapped in for safety with a time-tested harness system, but the park's assorted adventures will still appeal to thrill-seeking folks of all ages.

Splash in the sea at Bridgeport's Seaside Park, where the whole family can find adventure. Broil up some fun as you soak in the sun on the sandy beach, or roll through the waves with the kids when the surf is up. Spill your little one's excitement onto the sand, while kids young and old build towering sandcastles. You can even hike a bit inland to one of the park's many sports fields and challenge the children to their favorite game.

Encourage engaging learning at The Discovery Museum and Planetarium. Lie back and look at the stars in the museum's 121-seat planetarium, suitable for all ages. Launch your child's imagination of space exploration when the planetarium's darkened dome lights up like the night sky. Then rocket into a good time at the hands-on space program exhibit. Explore electricity's existence at the interactive energy exhibit, or blend physics and fun at the sports science display. Fantastic science summer programs are available for kids from 5 to 15.
